About Metasystems

Established in 2002 as an engineering services provider, Metasystems started trading engineering materials in 2004 and is currently the authorised distributor for semi-finished Thermoplastic products from Mitsubishi Chemical Infratec Co. Ltd., Japan and Plastic Composite materials from Risho Kogyo Co. Ltd., Japan in several ASEAN countries. We also source specialty products from notable manufacturers to provide a complete suite of complementary products.

Our products serve the region’s vital plastic fabrication and precision-machining sectors that in turn support many industries such as the Electronics & Electrical Assembly, Semiconductor Wafer-fabs, Biotech & Pharmaceutical, Cleanroom engineering, Water-treatment & Chemical processing and many other industries where plastics are indispensable and used directly or indirectly in manufacturing.

In today’s fast-paced environments, looking for the correct material with the right quality at a competitive price is a daunting task, and many times companies “make-do” with incorrect or inferior quality materials which end up as expensive experiments and delays. We see our role here as a bridge for customers into the plastics universe, that goes beyond our regular products and encompasses up and down stream converters, and even access to their industry peers.

Underlying all this is our core belief that quality always wins, no matter how cheap the alternative is. Considering that quality is usually the first to be sacrificed in maintaining low prices, the presumed savings from very low priced materials can never cover the costs of rework, replacements of finished products or line disruptions due to shorter service life.
